Splish, Splash I was taking a (bubble) bath!

Today we ventured out to Wal-Mart again. I bought Claire some bubble bath and she insisted on carrying it all through the store. I don't think she really understood what having bubbles in the tub meant until she saw the water. She was so excited! She played with Daddy while I took pictures.

Daddy taught me how to blow bubbles out of my hand.

That Daddy is so funny!

Gotta get the bubbles out of my hair!

After her bath, she has started asking to be a "bee-do" (burrito). She wants me to wrap her up like a burrito in her towel and then in her blanket to go to sleep. It's funny the things you do one time that stick around forever!

Oh, Canada!

Well for those who have been wondering...I am here! After a day of flying with this wiggly thing...

I managed to make it! Claire took two naps out of the three flights it took to get here. I call that a success for an 18 month old. Also..I admit I couldn't have done it without my mother-in-law. She is a pro at rocking Claire to sleep!

We did have one scare when they told my mother-in-law and me that we had to pay a tax to get Claire into Canada. We spent a million years trying to get the airport man to get the computer going so we could pay the tax. Only to find out...you don't pay a tax unless you are coming to the US from Canada! Good grief. I really thought we were going to miss our flight. You should've seen me running down the moving sidewalk yelling "EMERGENCY!" to get people out of the way so we could board the plane. It is funny now...but definitely not then! When we got onto the plane the stweward looked at us and said, "where have YOU been?" Ha ha ha! I told him he didn't want to know...

The family in front of Canadian customs...here at last!

So..we've settled (aside from a few random boxes) into a nice two-year old duplex here. The neighborhood is nice and close to Wal-mart! Yep, they have one!

Charlie promised he would have flowers waiting for me, but he couldn't find a florist so I got the potted kind. How sweet!

Our garage and our neighbors are right beside each other (I cut them out of the picture...sorry guys!)

The pond in our neighborhood. Claire likes to walk and see the "waaa--der!"

Look out Canada, here we come!

My vacation with family has drawn to a close. I packed the suitcase a little while ago...I think I wish I hadn't bought Charlie a pair of shoes! They were difficult to squeeze in!

So, tomorrow Claire and I will fly out to Canada. We will arive around 4 their time. I am excited to see Charlie and the house he found for us to live in. Also interested in seeing these huge rabbits that hop around our yard. Apparently they are as big as our dog, Gus!

Anyway, here's goodbye to the United States! :(

Here's some pictures of the family at the 4th of July fireworks.
